Specialist dentistry, the honest way
Baro Dental is a specialist-led dental clinic in Busan Seomyeon, built so international patients get the same careful, English-speaking care a local would — without translators, guesswork or over-treatment.

A clinic built around trust , not up-selling
At Baro Dental, the specialist who diagnoses you is the one who treats you. Both directors are board-certified specialists in Advanced General Dentistry and Osstem AIC implant faculty — dentists who teach implant surgery to other dentists.
We built the clinic for patients who want a straight answer: what you actually need, what it costs, and how long it takes. If a tooth can be saved, we save it. If a simpler option works, we tell you. You get a written estimate on WhatsApp before anything begins.
For visitors and expats, everything runs in English — from your first message to your aftercare — five minutes from Seomyeon Station in central Busan.

Transparent pricing

Digital-guided precision
Implants are planned in 3D with surgical guides and navigation for accurate, predictable placement — a standard our specialists teach.

Consultations, treatment plans and aftercare are handled in English, so nothing about your diagnosis or options gets lost in translation.

International patient FAQ
The practical questions visitors and expats ask before their first visit to Busan — answered in full.
You won't need a translator. Baro Dental provides English-speaking care directly — your consultation, examination findings, treatment plan and written aftercare instructions are all explained in English. We also run WhatsApp entirely in English, so you can ask questions before you travel and after you fly home. If you'd prefer to bring a companion or interpreter you're welcome to, but it isn't necessary for a normal visit.
Message us on WhatsApp (010-3939-9980) before you travel. Tell us your concern, your rough dates in Busan, and send any photos, X-rays or CT scans you already have. We'll review your case, tell you which treatments are realistic in your timeframe, and reserve a time that fits your trip. There's no booking fee — you only pay for treatment you agree to after your in-person exam.
Yes, and we recommend it. Based on your photos or records we send a written estimate over WhatsApp in KRW, following Korea's non-covered fee disclosure. It's an estimate, not a final quote — the exact plan is confirmed after a hands-on exam and a 3D scan or CT at the clinic — but it's usually close, and it lets you budget the trip before committing. Implant fixture prices already include the custom abutment and crown; any bone graft or sinus lift is quoted as a separate line so there are no surprises.
It depends on the treatment. Whitening, fillings, cleanings, single crowns and simple cosmetic bonding usually fit one short stay. Implants and orthodontics are staged by nature: an implant typically needs the fixture placed, a healing period of a few months, then the crown, so most patients plan two trips or a longer stay. Full-mouth cases are planned individually. We'll tell you honestly, before you book, how many visits your specific case needs and roughly how long between them — we won't compress treatment in a way that risks the result.
Bring your passport and any recent dental records, X-rays or CT scans if you have them — they help us plan faster. If you don't have records, that's fine; we take a 3D scan or cone-beam CT at the clinic. Your first visit is a focused exam plus imaging, a discussion of your options in English, and a clear written estimate. Nothing irreversible is done on the day without your understanding and agreement.
For non-covered (비급여) treatments — implants, clear aligners, crowns, whitening, cosmetic work — the price is the same for everyone, and those are the prices shown on our Pricing page. The difference is with procedures that are covered by Korea's national health insurance for residents, such as root canal, extraction, gum treatment and basic scaling: if you don't have Korean national health insurance, these are charged at the higher non-covered rate. We confirm the exact fee for those at your visit so you always know before we proceed.
You pay the clinic directly — there's no agency in the middle and no markup added to your quote. We accept major credit cards and cash (KRW). For larger treatment plans like implants or orthodontics, payment is usually split by stage as treatment progresses rather than all upfront. If you need a receipt or documentation for insurance or tax purposes back home, let us know and we'll prepare it.
We stay reachable on WhatsApp after you leave. For most concerns we can guide you with a photo check and advice in English, and coordinate any remaining steps around your next visit. If something needs hands-on care urgently, we'll help you understand what to ask a local dentist for so nothing is lost in translation. Your treatment plan and records are documented so any dentist can continue your care if needed.
We're on the 5th floor of SJ Medical Building, about a 5-minute flat walk from Seomyeon Station (Lines 1 & 2) — one of Busan's main interchanges. From Gimhae International Airport it's roughly 45 minutes by taxi, or about 60–70 minutes by airport limousine bus to Seomyeon. From Seoul, take the KTX to Busan Station (about 2 hr 40 min) and then Line 1 to Seomyeon. The building has an elevator.
